Yan is a junior mechanical engineering student trying to build up a background in biomedical devices. This semester he will be working on programming controls to a multi-axis bioreactor to study mechanical properties of artificial tissue. Additionally, he will be aiding in the design of a knee tissue bioreactor. He hopes to apply this controls and mechanical design experience in the robotics industry after graduation.
