Maximiliano Lopez is a Mechanical Engineering major from Dallas, TX. This is his first semester working in the Biomechanical Environments Laboratory. He is currently working under Ji-Wan Han, he is focusing on the development and testing of a system to simulate projectile impact on bone. The goal is to recreate the findings of spear tip inside a mastodon bone that has been dated back to 13,800 years ago.
