Jordan Ankersen

Jordan is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M. She is originally from Mobile, AL. She received her undergraduate degree at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where she double majored in Mathematics and Physics. While at Rhodes, Jordan conducted research in the fields of biomathematics and biomedical Physics. Jordan's graduate research interests are centered around the use of motion capture technology in clinical settings to develop new computational tools for the improvement of injury prevention and post-injury or post-operative recovery. Currently, Jordan conducts research in the Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory (OBRL) at Houston Methodist as a Graduate Research Fellow.
