Elizabeth Buck
Elizabeth Buck is a junior Honors Biomedical Engineering student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate researcher at the University of Pittsburgh's Medical Center, Elizabeth designed an innovative mathematical model and detailed schematic of the Inflammatory Response in Traumatic Brain Injury. Elizabeth is currently working with Andrew Robbins on understanding the mechanics of Blast Induced Traumatic Brain Injury (bTBI) to develop preventative measures and treatments for patients suffering from this injury. Outside of the lab, Elizabeth is an active member of the Texas A&M Polo Club. She is also actively involved in Texas A&M's Orthodox Christian Fellowship, and the Society of Biomedical Engineers. After graduation, Elizabeth plans to pursue her Masters degree at Texas A&M University.
