Anissa is a Senior in Biomedical Engineering from Del Rio, Texas. Previously, she assisted Ji-Wan Han with the mechanical testing of a shape memory polymer foam created by Dr. Melissa Grunlan and her research team. After her first term with the Biomechanical Environments Lab, she took a year-long co-op with Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer. This semester she will be working with Ji-wan Han to design hardware for a biaxial bioreactor. Upon graduation, Anissa plans to return to the manufacturing industry.
